Our Latest Volunteering Opportunities

We’re excited about what the year ahead of us has in store. There’s a lot of projects we’d love to dip our toe into. To do this properly, to do each project justice, we’re doing possibly our largest single volunteer recruitment drive since we first started.

The Roles We’re Looking To Fill

  • Project Lead – for annual prose and poetry awards
  • Project Lead – for online events, such as readings and workshops
  • Project Lead – for releasing digital issues, including Kindle ebooks
  • Designer – for releasing digital issues, including Kindle ebooks
  • 3x Social Media Assistants – one each for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Sponsorship Manager – to oversee our Patreon community, and sponsors for podcasts and posts

Who We’re Looking For

We’re not too prescriptive about the type of people we want as part of our team. Experience in any area isn’t essential – a huge part of what we do is supporting people to learn new skills – nor are there any restrictions on location, age, gender, sexuality, disability, or any such thing.

We only ask for three things:

  1. You’re willing and eager to learn new skills
  2. You’re comfortable working under your own initiative
  3. You’ve got an interest in helping new and emerging writers
